Copyright Policy

Authors retain the copyright of articles published in The Journal of Contemporary Social Sciences.

By submitting and publishing an article in TJCSS, the author grants the journal the right of first publication and permission to identify itself as the original publisher of the work. Authors also authorize the journal to publish, preserve, distribute, and make the article permanently available in print and electronic formats.

Authors retain the right to:

• Use their article in teaching and research
• Include the article in a thesis or dissertation
• Include the article in a future book or collected work
• Present the research at a conference
• Share the article with students and colleagues
• Deposit the article in an institutional or subject repository
• Post the article on a personal or institutional website
• Distribute the published version for academic purposes
• Authorize lawful reuse under the applicable license

Authors do not transfer copyright ownership to TJCSS. Publication in the journal does not prevent authors from using their work in future academic activities, provided that the original publication is properly acknowledged.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts do not unlawfully use copyrighted text, tables, figures, photographs, questionnaires, maps, or other material. Authors must obtain written permission where permission is legally required.

Material owned by a third party is not automatically covered by the article’s Creative Commons license. Such material must be clearly identified, and reuse remains subject to the rights of its copyright holder.

By submitting this manuscript, the author confirms that the work is original and that the author holds the necessary rights to publish it. If accepted, the article will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. The author will retain copyright and grant TJCSS the right of first publication.
