Author Self Archiving Policy
TJCSS permits and encourages authors to archive and share their work.
Authors may deposit the following versions without an embargo:
- Submitted manuscript
- Accepted manuscript
- Published version of record
Authors may deposit these versions in:
- Institutional repositories
- Subject repositories
- Personal websites
- University profiles
- Research group websites
- Funder repositories
- Academic networking platforms
- Other lawful archives
Conditions for Self Archiving
When sharing the accepted or published version, authors should:
- Identify TJCSS as the original publisher
- Include the complete article citation
- Provide a link to the published article
- Mention the CC BY 4.0 license
- Avoid presenting a manuscript version as the final published version
Embargo
TJCSS applies no embargo period. Authors may archive their work immediately after submission, acceptance, or publication, subject to accurate identification of the version.
Preprints
Posting a manuscript as a preprint does not automatically prevent submission to TJCSS.
Authors must:
- Disclose the existence of the preprint during submission
- Provide its link or identifier
- Inform the editor about any related version
- Update the preprint record with a link to the published article after publication
Theses and Dissertations
A manuscript based on a publicly available thesis or dissertation may be considered for publication if:
- The thesis or dissertation is disclosed
- The submitted article presents an appropriate scholarly contribution
- Relevant institutional requirements are followed
- The original source is acknowledged where necessary
