Aim
The Journal of Contemporary Social Sciences aims to promote the production and dissemination of original social science research that contributes to a better understanding of contemporary societies, institutions, public policies, human behaviour, political processes, economic developments, and social change.
The journal seeks to connect academic research with current social and policy challenges. It provides a platform for researchers to present theoretical, empirical, comparative, and interdisciplinary studies that contribute to knowledge and support informed academic and public discussion.
TJCSS also aims to encourage scholarly exchange among researchers from different countries, institutions, disciplines, and academic backgrounds.

Submissions must make a clear contribution to the social sciences and must be relevant to the journal’s stated aim and scope.
The journal does not normally accept:
- Manuscripts that fall entirely outside the social sciences
- Literary or creative writing
- Previously published work
- Manuscripts submitted to another journal at the same time
- Articles containing fabricated, falsified, or manipulated data
- Manuscripts involving plagiarism or excessive text similarity
- Promotional or commercially focused material
- Articles that do not meet basic academic and ethical standards
